Commissioner Milan Marinović, deputy Commissioner Sanja Unković, acting Chief of Cabinet Dragoslav Đukić, and acting Assistant Secretary-General Lela Rudić, participated in the first round table as part of the public debate on the proposal of the Personal Data Protection Strategy in Novi Sad. Aside from them, representatives of the Cabinet of the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Justice participated in the round table.

The following round table will be held in Belgrade on Friday, March 31, 2023. starting at 1 p.m. in the Chamber of Industry and Commerce of Serbia premises, Resavska 13-15, in K2 K3 hall on the first floor.

On March 24, Commissioner Milan Marinović received an official visit from the Resident Representative of the UNDP (United Nations Development Programme) in Serbia, Mr. Yakup Beris. At the meeting, the Commissioner introduced the high-ranking guest to the Commissioner's history, organization, working methods, and jurisdiction, and then discussed the Commissioner's previous cooperation with UNDP and the potentialities for continuing and expanding this cooperation with the objective of more efficient work of the Commissioner's Office and improving the protection of the rights that the Commissioner protects.

Yesterday, the Office of the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection held a thematic training for persons engaged in companies dealing with standard operating procedures in clinical drug trials in the Republic of Serbia, as well as for Data Protection Officers and representatives of Data Controllers and Data Processors who deal with clinical drug trials. The training, organized via the Zoom application, was attended by over 80 interested persons.

Since the professional practice of students of Belgrade's Faculty of Law is still ongoing, they also had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the provisions of the Law on Personal Data Protection, but also to gain firsthand insight into the ways how the training conducted by the Commissioner is organized.

The training was conducted by accredited lecturers of the Commissioner's Office from the Sector for Education and Certification, Aleksandra Lakićević, Marko Milošević, Marin Cetinić, and Marina Grbić.
