COMMISSIONER
FOR INFORMATION OF PUBLIC IMPORTANCE AND PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION

The Commissioner Milan Marinović, Deputy Commissioner Sanja Unković, and the Acting Assistant Secretary General Dragana Stojković attended the certificate award ceremony of the short study program "Legal Data Protection and Access to Information" at the Faculty of Law of Kragujevac University on 17 July 2025. This is the fourth generation of students to achieve the title of Manager in both laws under the jurisdiction of the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection.

The program aims to raise the level of staff expertise in the areas of personal data protection and access to information of public importance, to systematically and in detail familiarize them with the rights citizens have in terms of protecting their personal data and obtaining information of public importance, which should contribute not only to increasing the efficiency and quality of the administration's work, but also to greater security of our citizens' data.

In addition to professors from the faculty, lecturers in this program are Commissioner Milan Marinović, Deputy Commissioner Sanja Unković, and Acting Assistant Secretary General Dragana Stojković. The specificity of this short study program lies in the fact that participants acquire knowledge in both rights protected by the Commissioner: personal data protection and access to information of public importance.

On this occasion, the Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner held a meeting with the newly elected Dean of the Faculty of Law, Prof. Dr. Bojan Urdarević, who, among other things, discussed the continuation and deepening of cooperation between these two institutions.
